Built around your brief.
Shaped for your audience.
A clear creative direction.
A production plan to get there.
We review the edit, source media, conform requirements and visual references with the editorial and colour teams.
We coordinate look development and review, then take the agreed treatment across the film.
We bring graded picture into the finishing workflow and check the agreed versions against the delivery brief.
Our team turns your idea, audience and deadline into a clear production approach. We’ll develop the scope and coordinate the work, from the first conversation to delivery.
Explore our production planning resourcesWe manage colour grading as part of the film’s final visual treatment. The conversation starts with the edit, the lighting already captured and the references your creative team wants to explore. We coordinate the colourist and the production stakeholders around that direction, including any product or brand details that need particular attention. The aim is a coherent look that supports the story rather than a treatment applied without context.
Our team works with the editor and finishing collaborators to confirm the source files, edit references and technical requirements needed for the grade. We identify changes that could affect the conform or final versions and agree when picture is ready to move forward. Where several cameras or sources are involved, we bring that information into the brief. Technical limitations in the supplied material are assessed before promising a result.
We coordinate review points for the visual direction and carry approved feedback into the finished sequence. Brand colours, products and skin tones are considered with the appropriate references and viewing conditions. On The Sound of Japan, Jithu Appu is credited as colourist; the project page preserves the specialist’s role. Related work can be commissioned through video editing and post-production. Your scope identifies grading, finishing and deliverables.
Yes. We review the edit, source media and technical handover with your team, then coordinate the grading scope and schedule with the relevant colour specialist.
We assess the material first. Exposure, compression, focus and other capture limitations can affect what is achievable; we identify those limits and propose the appropriate finishing work.
We work from your approved references and available source material to develop a compatible treatment. We agree how the look will be reviewed before taking it across the film.
