Planning your project

Editing that starts with the material

We provide video editing services for footage from NaF+ productions and shoots managed by other teams. Our first step is to review what is available and understand the film you need. We consider the coverage, performances, sound and supporting assets before proposing the editorial work. The approach follows the material: an interview-led film, a product demonstration and a campaign performance each need a different structure and rhythm.

A review process that keeps the edit moving

We agree the stages at which your team reviews the film, from the initial structure to detailed picture changes. Consolidated feedback helps us understand the decisions and maintain a coherent edit. We identify any missing footage, unresolved claims or rights questions that affect the sequence. Temporary music and graphics are marked as working material where relevant, so the approved direction can move into finishing with clear responsibilities.

From picture lock to the files you need

Your editing scope can include the main film, cutdowns and different format versions. We coordinate the handover to colour, sound and visual-effects specialists when those stages are part of the project. Editable project files and source media are separate handover items to agree before work starts. Explore colour grading, sound design and our broader post-production service for the finishing work.

Your questions, answered.

Can you edit footage filmed by another production company?

Yes. We assess the source files, audio, supporting assets and permissions, then define the edit we can deliver. Any material gaps or technical limitations are identified before the scope is confirmed.

How are revisions handled?

We agree review stages and included revisions in the proposal, with a named route for consolidated feedback. Material changes to the brief or additional versions are scoped as they arise.

Do we receive the editing project files?

Finished films are the standard deliverables defined in the scope. Editable projects, source media and third-party assets need a separate handover agreement because licences and storage responsibilities can affect their use.
